Summery News

Hi everyone! Hope you have been enjoying the summer, it has been very beautiful here and I wish it could last longer.

I have been neglecting my blog for over a month now I am sorry if you have stopped by. I have been so busy with work and I am grateful for it. I am living my dream and it feels wonderful! But seriously I am very tired haha!

I finally have some charity pints for sale yay! For housing, water and food donations go to Unicef Survival Gifts, and for poverty in Mexico donations go to http://habitatmexico.org
I hope they would sell more, they have been selling but not as much as I would like. I still make donations even if they don sell but it would be really nice to donate much more.

Let the Summer Begin!

We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary last weekend at Hornby Island. It was great! Found the most beautiful beach I have seen in Canada, with soft white sand and clear almost Caribbean blue warm water. I can not wait to go back for a longer stay :)

Hornby Island turned out to be one of my favorite spots for a getaway. It is close but remote. There are only 1000 very special people living there full time, and when I say special I mean smart, respectful and peaceful good people who want to live in peace and quiet, in nature and away from all the bull crap of society.

   We enjoyed very much the beautiful beaches  and marine life of the little island.

We went for nice walks and beautiful bike rides.
I even had a bald eagle encounter! I got a little scared.

Spring Time!

 It's Spring Time! And finally the weather is nice! The city is an explosion of cherry blossoms and magnolias. It is gorgeous!
Next week is supposed to be sunny and I could not be happier spending most days at the park enjoying the flowers and the newborn animals at the farm (at Beacon Hill Park). I am obsessed with spring this year, maybe I went crazy after a grey and rainy winter.

The market season has begun, and I am excited about it because this year I will no longer be a vendor! I will be a visitor and can't wait to admire all the amazing work from the artisans in this city. I enjoyed selling last year but it was crazy hard work, and now that I am focusing my business on online sales only. Jesse and I can actually enjoy the city on the weekends. We have been living in Victoria for over a year and it is about time to start exploring the city and Vancouver Island.

Welcome cherry blossoms! My favorite time of the year. It is still very cold here in VIctoria, but the city is starting to turn pink full of flowers.

Mexico Vacation

Hi! I am back! 

We took a lovely vacation to Mexico a few weeks ago. Here are some photos I wanted to share with you of our fun trip. We spent one week in Playa del Carmen enjoying the sun and beach and the BEST food ever! I missed authentic Mexican food so much... we did not stop eating the whole time we were there. 

On our days there, we swam in a beautiful cenote, went to the archeological site of Coba, visited the beach of Tulum and snorkeled in Acumal. Everything was gorgeous!

The second week we flew back from Cancun to Mexico City and spent it in Cuernavaca, Taxco and Puebla. That is were I enjoyed my camera the most! There is so much beauty and color in Mexico and I really appreciate colonial cities; their doors and windows inspire me.

We came back home last thursday and it almost feels like Spring here in Victoria! I am very happy to see some cherry blossoms staring to bloom! 


I have been working lots... I am redoing my office, just opened a new shop on Down That Little Lane and a new Jewelry Store  on Etsy (will be adding more listings soon) and will open two more shops offering my prints and photos on canvas and other fun products. Stay tuned!

Happy New Year!

Ok I know it is a little late but... Happy New Year!!
It has been a very busy start of the year and I am very grateful for that.
Last year was great, and even though it had some difficult times it ended wonderfully. We moved from Kelowna to Victoria and left some dear friends and Jesse´s mom :(, but Victoria is so beautiful, it has everything on my list for a dream place to live in. (Well, I am only missing my family, but they will get here eventually)
This year will be awesome! I have many projects in line, I have added a new line of embroideries to my art shop and will be opening a jewelry shop very soon, hopefully in february, can´t wait!
