English:
Mandala is a Sanskrit word which literally means circle but its essence is wholeness. Having the shape of a circle makes it infinite, pure and harmonious. A mandala is a spiritual symbol, an excellent tool for personal and spiritual growth, and in Buddhism is a sacred art. Having a mandala at home brings harmony and balances energies. Used in meditation, it creates a strong focal point.
"When you contemplate the mandala, you are harmonized inside." - Joseph Campbell
